Any rethinking of the Self must begin with an awareness that billions of people who have a sense of their self, are interconnected. “It took hundreds of thousands of years for the world population to grow to one billion – then in just another 200 years or so, it grew sevenfold. In 2011, the global population reached the seven billion mark, and in November 2022, it reached eight billion”. Each individual requires time, space and material goods to define his self in relation to the world. But the question is how much does each one need? and how are these produced and made available?
